Wine Advocate-Parker :
Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Corton Renardes Grand Cru from Thibault Liger-Belair is one of his best offerings this vintage. It has a pastille-like bouquet with strawberry winegums and quite conspicuous oak at the moment that will need to be subsumed. There is just a touch of smoked meats in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, rounded red berry fruit, slightly lower acidity than its peers with a velvety finish that is more about the texture than intrinsic complexity. This is a thoughtfully crafted, delicious Corton Renardes.
